Airport transfers
Once you have your flights and holiday accommodation booked, you need to think how to get from the airport to Kalkan. This short guide covers some of the options available to you.
Taxis
Getting off the airplane and hopping in a taxi is convenient, quick and something available for all visitors. However, grabbing an on demand taxi will be the most expensive way to travel and therefore not recommended. Current pricing is around £100 for transfers to/from Dalaman Airport and £200 for rides to/from Antalya Airport.

Arranged Car Service

By far the most commonly used option is to arrange for private car service to come and pick you up from the airport. It makes the most sense when you are 2 or more.

There are quite a number of local companies in Kalkan that you can use. These are locally owned and locally staffed providers with decades of experience, know the area well and we recommend you use them.

There are out of town operators, many of them compete on price. A lot of visitors use them too but do remember the old adage : you get what you pay for. Most of the time they are fine but these out of area drivers, may not be familiar with Kalkan and arrival at night could be challenging.
If you are a first time visitor, unfamiliar with Kalkan, unsure about precise location of your accommodation etc, we'd definitely suggest you go with a local Kalkan based operator for much higher level or service and chance of success.
You will be asked to provide full names, date of birth and passport numbers. This is perfectly normal in order to satisfy local regulations.
