Jogging

Many visitors like to keep fit with regular walks and/or jogs.  Yes, Kalkan is hilly but there are many flat and flattish choices to keep everyone happy. They vary in length, the longest one being 4km to Ulugöl, 8km return trip, a good stretch all on nice sidewalks.

A favourite during hotter months is Hürriyet Cd - stunning views up there and it's the breeziest.  During winter the Harbour Front becomes the fave, it's nice to be close to the water.

The fitness map shows all the flat paths that are suitable for easy walking & jogging. The dark green lines were included as "connections" to other flat bits. The dark green lines are inclines.

During hot summer months, if you start early or late you can avoid the heat of the day; or escape up to hilltop plateaus such as Bezirgân (15 mins away, 800m up) where its much cooler and you can do a circular & flat 6km route, once or a few times as your training routine desires.
